It all started with a lie: Brian said he would save money by brewing his own beer and Martha bought into it. With a strong background in education and a natural inclination for research, Brian rapidly began devouring brewing books and online articles regarding all aspects of brewing, including the chemistry of yeast, sanitation practices, etc.
It wasn’t long after that friends starting visiting more often to partake in samplings and started making requests to take bottles home. The bottles were shared with friends who shared with more friends. Eventually restaurants were requesting Brian’s brews and wanted his alcohol license number. And so began the adventure of opening a craft brewery and tasting room.
Once the paperwork was done, they rapidly started setting up their tasting room. Although they never had the chance to have a grand opening, due to demand, they started serving in March 2013.
